Workplace Wellbeing That Creates Real-Time Rapport | The Great Big Yawn CIC

Workplace wellbeing your people can feel in 20 minutes

The Great Big Yawn CIC helps organisations create real-time rapport, stress relief and cultural change through short team experiences, internal Ambassador training and app-supported participation to connect around the world.

Our field data includes 58,073 recorded participation moments, 121 named schools, over 5,000 children and staff, and 132 teacher / assistant feedback forms. In structured feedback, 92.4% reported children leaving relaxed or calm, 97.7% reported children felt safe, and 75% recorded engagement.

This is not the same old wellbeing white noise. This is refreshing, real and tangible.

One focused week can begin to shift the whole culture of your organisation.

This is real people, real rooms, real-time response. The research brief describes the strength of this dataset as its ecological realism, scale and direct observation — meaning it happened in live settings, with real children, real staff and immediate feedback.

And the figures are powerful.

Across Bury and Bolton feedback forms:

92.4% reported children leaving relaxed or calm.
97.7% reported children felt safe.
75% recorded engagement.
97% reported children learnt something new.
90.2% reported visible participation.

That is what organisations are looking for. People who feel calmer but not switched off. Safer but not silent. Engaged without being forced.

People feeling connected without being pushed into awkward sharing, but allowing in a safe space the potential to literally ripple out and be witnessed together, just like babies learn how to walk. Our clients do so by observing, witnessing over and over and over again the same movements until they feel able to do it themselves. They have permission to do so and it changes their lives.

We offer permission into wellbeing where people can continue daily to change their lives into creativity, hope and possibility and that is a priceless gift.

Too big a claim? We believe true mastery is making change simple enough for a child to understand and powerful enough for a whole organisations to feel it, hear it and see it enough to not only WANT to join in, but do so, freely.” Founder: Rachel Earing

The question is – Are you curious enough to take up the challenge?

20 minutes. Real rapport. Tangible results. A whole-organisation ripple in one week.

Your organisation does not need another wellbeing programme that sounds good, lands flat, and involves another mass meeting to share your new values. Your organisation needs to experience your values daily, weekly, monthly, and witness real time who you are as the individual and as the community you represent.

Are wellbeing words becoming white noise?

Workplace wellbeing. Mental health at work. Stress relief. Burnout prevention. Employee engagement. Team building. Psychological safety. Culture change.

They are important words, but for many people, they have started to become a trigger of overwhelm all of their own.

The Great Big Yawn CIC brings something different. Not another talk about wellbeing. A lived experience of it.

Not another conversation about connection. A real-time felt shift into rapport, relief, safety and shared humanity. In this world where AI is speeding everything up sometimes we need time to do LESS to achieve MORE, in real time, in real spaces, with real people.

Not three hours out of the working day. Around 20 minutes in short team groups — and then people go straight back into work carrying the difference with them and incorporate it into everyday life 24 hours a day, just like they have already been doing, but with a small shift.

Train up your own team and facilitate daily, weekly or monthly in your own time, just downloading your participant moments into our Global app to create Global cultural change together.

YES, you will be impacting more than just your own team! You could have a global impact with the tiniest actions.

Invite the agency you really want to work with

Here is where this gets exciting.

Imagine inviting the agency, client, funder, charity, school, community group or partner you have always wanted to build a stronger relationship with.

Not into a pitch. Not into another formal meeting. Into a challenge that feels joyful, easy and human.

You share something real together. You laugh. You connect. You create a story. You don’t waste their time, just a short 30 minutes together online or face to face, and the relationship warms up before the serious conversation even begins.

That is rapport in action. That is trust growing faster because people have experienced something together, not just exchanged information.

Deals grow better in warmer rooms. Partnerships grow deeper when people feel connected.

And culture spreads fastest when people actually enjoy being part of it.

We are here to think BIG, create BIG, and move together in BIG ways through the Tiniest of movements.

We are here to take the over looked, under estimated, and under valued, aspects of life, and turn the narrative and mindset upside down, inside out, and any other direction we can, to create something full of hope, creativity and possibility.

It is TOGETHER in small groups where we feel able to shine our light truly and move into areas where we feel we belong, perhaps for the very first time in our lives.

IMPACT ON FOLLOW UP SESSIONS:

Unsolicited comments from other Agencies (Talk Listen, Learn, GMP, Traffic Police, Alcohol & Drug Teams). Download our full reports through Live4Energy Training College.

“Children noticeably calmer coming in from your sessions. I’ve been doing this for years and the kids are usually bouncing off the walls into our room. From yours they’re still receptive and interactive to the information we’re giving them.” TLL.

This is real time data. We’re not waiting for it to be implimented again. The effects are already spreading from room to room without us being there to stimulate it.

We have now counted over 58,076 participations moment, just from Crucial Crew 12 minutes Workshops! We know this is a contagious way to help humankind build immediate rapport, relax and regenerate into something greater than they have ever been.

We are now ready to grow our Ambassador Team. You can join us and help your own organisation real time or help someone elses.

You can train as a Yawning Ambassador or become a Volunteer and be part of our growing team. See how below.

The evidence behind the feeling

The research brief compares The Great Big Yawn CIC’s field data with published work around social contagion, child settings, safety, thermoregulation and social presence. It is already well-supported in behavioural literature, and connects the Safe Room design with Porges-style safety and co-regulation theory, while keeping exploratory areas clearly marked as exploratory.

It is evidence-informed, real-world, social, physiological and cultural.

The strongest interpretation in the report is not that the sessions “treated” children. It is that brief, safety-framed group sessions were associated with large visible participation and repeated staff reports of calm, safety, engagement and settling.

That is exactly what organisations need. Not more noise. A measurable shift in the room in real time.

The cultural change nobody is talking about

The deeper insight in the research is cultural.

The brief says the novel contribution is the deliberate language shift: taking something often framed as boredom, rudeness and exhaustion, and reframing it toward hope, creativity, possibility, safety and visible regulation.

That is huge. Because every organisation has hidden language.

We’re too busy.”

That’s just how it is here.”

Keep going.”

Don’t be soft.”

We don’t have time.

Everyone’s exhausted.”

The Great Big Yawn CIC interrupts that story.

With a shared experience. With permission. With real-time rapport.

With people feeling the culture shift in their own body, team and working day.

That is why this is different.

Are you brave enough?

This is the question.

Are you brave enough to stop offering the same wellbeing noise and choose something your people will actually remember?

Are you brave enough to let your organisation become warmer, lighter and more connected?

Are you brave enough to invite your families, schools, charities and favourite agencies into the ripple?

Are you brave enough to let joy become part of your culture?

Because this is not about talking change.

This is about living it.

A week from now, your organisation could feel different.

Your teams could be talking differently.

Your people could be carrying a shared experience back into the day.

Your partners could be joining the challenge.

Your families could be part of the ripple.

Your organisation could become known as the one that does wellbeing differently.

The inspiring one.

The brave one.

The fun one.

The one people want to work with.

Our Ambassadors and Volunteers are helping us catch BOREDOM, APATHY and EXHAUSTION at the root of every yawn we see. Key emotions which when left to fester are at the root cause of societal unrest. We invite you to join us and change the narrative immediately; bringing in joy, laughter and a sense of belonging we cut ourselves from, without even realising it.

Come and help us change the narrative. Create joy and laughter together in the work we do. We think it’s needed now more than ever – don’t you?

WHO WE HELP:

We help adults (young and old) struggling to find a purpose in this over whelming world, who are stuck in apathy, boredom and exhaustion for far too long. We help organisations and charities who have long term sickness and overwhelm in their environments break the cycles of current societal thought patterns, and create something fresh new and expansive to move into.

We help schools access affordable well being programmes, art competitions, fun activities that give immediate shifts to connect mind, body , spirit with something that bringsimmediate rapport to all ages.

We help those who are stifled and unable to communicate whether by choice or by design.

We have Yawning Ambassadors in Human Trafficking and Domestic Abuse circles in Uganda.

We have Yawning Ambassadors in schools and nurseries. We have Yawning Ambassadors in Universities.

We have Yawning Ambassadors helping burnt out women. We have Yawning Ambassadors in Social Guardianship and Fostering. Visit our Land Project here to see what we’re doing this Autumn.

We are connecting into human, animal and environmental cultures to expand our message and communication. This in turn builds trust in the most astoundingly beautifully simple and creative ways.

We do not try to have all the answers which is why our community loves getting involved they all feel they have something to offer and have an expansive purpose within our realms.

Will you join us?

CREATIVE PROJECTS

Central to our work is the idea that creativity is our most powerful tool for transformation. When life feels overwhelming or stagnant, it’s often through creative expression—whether in art, movement, conversation, or simply imagining a new way forward—that we begin to rediscover hope. Creativity is not just a talent reserved for a few; it is an inherent part of being human. It’s the energy that fuels solutions, forges connections, and helps us re-imagine what’s possible.

Our teachings invite you to tap into this wellspring of creativity, even in the face of uncertainty. We believe that the act of creating—whether it’s a painting, a garden, a new room, a moment of laughter, or a vision for a better world—is a profound form of relief. It reminds us of our agency, our ability to shape the world around us, and our place within the greater cycles of life.

If you’d like more science then the film below gives a further vision of the expansion and contraction of human, global and universal movement. A Radical Guide to Reality created by Dr Jude Currivan, who has a Masters Degree in Physics, specializing in quantum physics and cosmology, from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Archaeology from the University of Reading. Jude is a cosmologist, planetary healer, ex senior business woman, futurist and international award winning author. (Rachel Earing, our Founder, met Jude at the Science & Consciousness summit at Broughton Sanctuary (below), in November 2024, where this film was played and Jude kindly gave her permission to use this on our website.)

We believe The Big Breath below is The Great Big Yawn and the missing link through connecting humanity and the universe together. Expansion and contraction needs to be experienced, felt and acknowledged for it to be believed and understood consciously as well as intellectually otherwise they are just words on a page with no reality attached to it from an individual perspective.

As you step into our world, consider this your invitation to reset. Allow yourself to feel the contraction of life’s challenges without resistance, knowing that they are the prelude to release. Explore your own creativity, letting it guide you toward hope and possibility. And most importantly, embrace the rhythm of the yawn—the grace of pausing, resetting, and beginning anew.

Our hope is that you will find relief with our journey with us. Relief from the weight of what you carry, from the noise of the world, and from the pressure to have all the answers. We invite you to discover the beauty of life’s cycles, the power of your own creativity, and the profound connection that binds us all.

After all, haven’t we overlooked and underestimated ourselves just as we have the humble yawn? Isn’t it time to pause, reset, and rediscover what’s possible?

Welcome to the journey. Let’s yawn, create, and begin again—together.
